Tale of the Tombstones

Our 27th Annual Cemetery Walk features the stories of local residents who fought and sacrificed to ensure the benefits of democracy for all people.

Trained docents will point out many fascinating sights in Forest Home Cemetery as they guide tour groups to the graves where costumed actors will tell the stories of the people interred there.

Bells of Peace: A World War I Remembrance 1918-2018

Come to the Museum and join Americans across the nation who will toll bells at 11:00 a.m. in remembrance of those who served and sacrificed in The Great War that changed the world. This solemn 21 tolls of the bell will commemorate the armistice that ended World War I. Sponsored by the U.S. World War I Centennial Commission. More details will follow.
