Join us at the first ever Architectural Finds Tent Sale on Sunday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the back yard of the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio.
Featuring hidden gems from the basements and attics of more than 20 Oak Park and River Forest historic and landmarked homes (including several Frank Lloyd Wright houses). Among the items up for sale that day: stained and leaded glass windows, doors, ornate hardware, floors, wood moldings, chairs, pedestal sinks, light fixtures, doorknobs and hinges, wrought iron, and much more!
All items will be of historical interest, but will not include materials that can be re-installed or reused in the owner’s homes or are at a level of significance such that they belong in museums.
All proceeds benefit the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust and The Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest. Special thanks to ReUse Depot in Maywood for their advice and logistical help.
