Description

Join us for our free monthly virtual program where OPRF Museum historians answer your questions about Oak Park and River Forest history.

The Oak Park Farmers Market is back in full swing this year, including weekly performances by the lauded Farmers Market band.

On Friday June 24 at 11 a.m., join us for a new edition of our monthly virtual program "Ask the Historians." In this program, historian Bob Messer will share some history of the group of musicians that have been entertaining folks at the farmers market for nearly fifty years. We'll also be joined by band members Ben Stark and Geoff Tillotson, who will share some stories and a little music.

This program is free for all and will last around 30 minutes. You must register in advance. Contact us on our website and tell us you would like to attend the live program. We will follow up with a link to join this Zoom meeting.

If you have an OPRF history question you'd like answered, click here and send it to us on our website. We will be preparing our answers in advance and may feature yours on a future show.
