Description

Oak Park River Forest Museum invites you to experience our collection and exhibits virtually on "Inside OPRF Museum," Thursday, February 17 at 11 a.m. (CST).

In this program on the third Thursday of every month, Historical Society members and staff share fascinating artifacts or stories from the museum’s collection. This month, Board President Peggy Tuck Sinko will share the stories of some local athletes who made it to the Olympics. She will highlight Aaron Parchem, pairs figure skater whose collection of memorabilia from the 2006 Torino Games is currently on display at OPRF Museum. Then, we'll check in with Aaron's mother Georga Parchem to hear stories from her experience at the Torino Games.

This event is free and will last around 30 minutes. Contact us on our website and tell us you would like to attend the live program via Zoom this Thursday.

And view past episodes of "Inside OPRF Museum" on our YouTube channel.

This project was partially funded by a grant from the Rapid Response and Recovery Fund of the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation.
