Virtual Trivia Night

Description

SOMETHING FAMILIAR, SOMETHING PECULIAR, SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE, IT'S TRIVIA AT NIGHT!

We’re excited to announce The Historical Society of OPRF's first-ever Virtual Trivia Night! Join us online on Thursday, January 28th, at 8:00 p.m. CST for an evening of fun and friendly competition from the comfort of your own living room and support Oak Park River Forest Museum at the same time. The evening will consist of a dozen typical pub trivia questions, but each question will have a connection to someone or something from Oak Park or River Forest. Don’t worry, though. You can answer all these questions without being a local history expert. You may even be surprised by how some of them connect to our community.

So get your friends and family together (virtually, of course) and create your Trivia Dream Team. Each team can have up to six players/devices. If you don’t want to put together a team of your own, come join us anyway and either play on your own or let us put a team together for you. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

The evening will be hosted by John C., who in the days before the pandemic was the regular host of Monday Night Trivia at Oak Park’s Lake Street Kitchen and who has continued to host multiple weekly trivia games since transitioning to virtual platforms.

The cost of this event is $20 per person ($15 for members), or $100 for a full team of six players. Extra donations are always appreciated and will be tax deductible. The money raised from Trivia Night will help offset the cost of maintaining OPRF Museum while we are closed to the public and unable to host in-person events. The entire event will last around 90 minutes.

To sign up, visit our online web store. When purchasing, please give the names of each of your players. We will send you a link for the virtual event and more information about how to play.
