Celebrate Juneteenth throughout the month of June by taking the Historical Society of OPRF's Black History Bike Tour of Oak Park on any day the sun shines. Developed in 2021 for the first annual Oak Park Juneteenth, it includes 16 stops you can visit on your bike or in your car. Click here to view a PDF of the booklet.
Oak Park's Juneteenth celebration on Sunday, June 18th includes a parade kicking off at 11 a.m. and a community cookout beginning at 5 p.m. Visit the Village of Oak Park's website for more details. Or consider marching with the Historical Society in Sunday's parade. Contact us if interested.
