Brooks and Julian Middle Schools in Oak Park have a very interesting, winding backstory as to how they came to be the schools we know today.
On Friday September 23 at 11 a.m., join us for a new edition of our monthly virtual program "Ask the Historians." In this program, Oak Parkers Dorothy Reid and Paul Rubio will join us for a discussion about the history of Oak Park's junior highs/middle schools and share their personal experiences being in historic classes at Emerson Junior High and Julian Middle School.
