Research Center
The Jeanette and Ellis Fields Research Center is open during regular Museum hours. Appointments are strongly recommended so that we may be certain that staff is available to retrieve the materials you need and to provide orientation to our facility.

From the East: Take I-290 West, exit at Austin Blvd. Head north, turn left on Lake St., proceed three blocks west to Lombard Ave.
From the West: Take I-290 East, exit at Austin Blvd. Head north, turn left on Lake St., proceed three blocks west to Lombard Ave.
From the North: Take I-94 South, merge onto I-290. Take I-290 West, exit at Austin Blvd. Head north, turn left on Lake St., proceed three blocks west to Lombard Ave.
From the South:Take I-57 North, merge I-294 West. Take I-294 to I-290 East/ Exit at Austin Blvd. Head north, turn left on Lake St. proceed three blocks west to Lombard Ave.
By Public Transportation
CTA Green Line: Get off at Austin Blvd. stop. Head north under viaduct one block to Lake St, turn left and proceed three blocks west to Lombard Ave.
Metra Union Pacific/ West Line (UP-W): Get off at Oak Park stop. Proceed 1.5 miles east on Lake St.
PACE Bus: The PACE Route 309 and 313 buses stop at the corner of Lake St. & Lombard Ave.
Parking
Regulations governing street parking in Oak Park are often confusing. Carefully read all posted parking regulations. In general, during the week, parking is available on both Lake Street and Lombard Avenue; on weekends, parking is generally available on Lake Street.
