Our new walking tour this summer will highlight interesting sites in the Harrison Arts District.
The walk begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, in Columbus Park, technically in Chicago, but considered an amenity for residents on the large apartment buildings on Harrison Street and Austin Boulevard. The tour then continues west on Harrison. Our guides will explain how Harrison Street has changed over the years, from serving as a major thoroughfare into the city before the Eisenhower was constructed to how it's been revitalized by neighbors and artists.
Tickets for this tour are $10 each ($8 for members). Spaces are limited, so order your tickets today on our website or by phone at 708-848-6755.
The tour will meet in Columbus Park. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring your own water if needed.
