Description
Last weekend was our annual "Tale of the Tombstones" walking tour of Forest Home Cemetery. This week, find out about the nearby Jewish Waldheim Cemetery, along Des Plaines Avenue stretching south of Roosevelt Road.
Join us at 7 p.m. at OPRF Museum on Wednesday, Oct. 25, as River Forest resident Abby Schmelling talks about the history of Jewish Waldheim Cemetery. She is currently working on a book about the cemetery's history.
