Description

On August 27 Wonder Works Children's Museum will host a very special event in conjunction with Oak Park River Forest Museum at Wonder Works called "The History of Play." There will be games available for ages 3 to 103!

Session times are at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person, available at wonder-works.org/history-of-play

Oak Park River Forest Museum will be bringing some antique play materials such as the Hoop Trundle and the Game of Graces. We will also provide some building materials with strong Oak Park ties: Lincoln Logs that were invented by the son of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Froebel Blocks that were such an inspiration to Frank Lloyd Wright.

We hope you'll join us for board games, paper airplanes, card games, outdoor play and so much more!
