As the Historical Society prepares for our annual cemetery walk, we invite you to a cemetery talk. On Wednesday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m., come to Oak Park River Forest Museum for "A Presentation You Can't Refuse: The Gangsters of Chicago." Paula Fenza--actress for many of the Historical Society's cemetery walks--will trace the history of some of Chicago's most famous gangsters through their tombstones.
Doors will open at 7 p.m., so come early for a tour of the museum, and see how we glow at night! In addition to regular museum hours, OPRF Museum is open from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of select months. Check back on our website and watch your emails for updates on evening hours and programs.
Regular admission rates apply; members are always free. Click here for more information on how to plan your visit or call 708-848-6755.
