Spring is on its way, and that means it’s time for The Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest’s annual Spring House Walk. This year, five beautiful homes in northeast River Forest will be open for interior tours from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 3.
Advance ticket sales for this event have closed. Tickets may still be available on the day of the event for $45 each at Trinity High School after 12:30pm.
Your tour will begin on the day of the event by picking up your program booklet at Trinity High School, located at 7574 Division Street in River Forest at the corner of Division and Lathrop (we will be located in the main entrance on the Lathrop side), any time after 12:30pm on event day. If you have purchased tickets in advance, we will check you in by name as you arrive, and you will receive a program book containing the addresses of the five featured homes, which will be open for touring between 1 and 5pm that day. (We do not give out the addresses ahead of time.)
The event is limited to those over age 12 and pets will not be allowed in these private homes. These homes are not ADA/wheelchair accessible and public restrooms are only available at ticket-pickup (Trinity High School).
All proceeds benefit the Historical Society, a not-for-profit community organization, which operates Oak Park River Forest Museum at the corner of Lake and Lombard in Oak Park.
