Milestones on Main Street

Explore our community's "main street" this summer with a scavenger hunt!

We are commemorating this summer as our nation's 250th anniversary and celebrating our hometowns of Oak Park and River Forest--the main business corridor connecting our communities--with a scavenger hunt, which will run from A Day in Our Village (June 7) to Labor Day (September 7) 2026.

To participate-

1. Pick up your “passport” at OPRF Museum, 129 Lake St. or other select locations.
2. Visit participating businesses along the Lake Street corridor to have your passport marked
3. Bring your passport completed with either four or eight marks to OPRF Museum for a chance to win prizes. (Four marks will make you eligible for select prizes, and eight marks will make you eligible for our grand prizes.)

For more information, visit OPRF Museum or call us at 708-848-6755.
